FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

This company is a market leader in the hospitality industry with a very strong presence in the South Island. On its behalf we seek to recruit a Financial Controller to play an integral role in achieving that.
A broad role encompassing financial stewardship, cash flow management, full monthly reporting, information technology, and, risk and compliance, the Financial Controller will work closely with the Chief Executive and management team to identify smarter ways to utilise the company’s resources to generate superior returns.
The appointee will be CA qualified and be able to point to at least five years post graduation experience, preferably gained in a fast moving, trading environment. While the role is to manage the finance, accounting and technology functions, our client is looking for real “value add” through the provision of sound commercial and practical advice that will help business unit managers run their operations better.
Working closely with other members of the senior team, this role offers an outstanding opportunity to make things happen and have a real impact at a commercial and operational level, and to work with a stable group of managers who are collectively committed to making this company the leader in the hospitality industry.
